Fulfilling immigration exam requirements
As per the USCIS (the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) requirements, individuals must fulfill medical examinations to be applicable for US citizenship or green card. This immigration exam can be conducted only by USCIS appointed doctors. Suncoast Medical Group offers the required medical services necessary to complete the immigrant exam requirements set forwards for application of US citizenship for all age groups. Suncoast Medical Group additionally offers vaccination assessments and related services to refugees.
You are requested to bring the I-693 form when coming to the exam. This is needed by the government to complete the immigration physical.
What is included in an Immigration Exam?
- Recording the findings of the examination findings along with the I-693 document.
- Physical examination
- Evaluation of the vaccination history
- Medical screening for diseases such as syphilis*, tuberculosis* and gonorrhea*
If there is a need for further testing and vaccinations for certain medical illnesses recognized during the course of the medical exam, Suncoast Medical Group offers necessary provisions for blood testing, vaccinations, and x-ray facilities at the same visit, depending upon the availability of the applicant**.
